Ask the Goblin Priestess for Help is an optional quest you can encounter while tackling Save the First Druid or Defeat the Goblins. After negotiating with the Goblins on your way to speak to Dror Ragzlin (or free Volo), head straight. You will see True Soul Gut, a small Goblin priestess.
Ask about the mark, accepting or refusing it as you like. Push the connection deeper or sever it, then ask for help to begin the quest.
Gut takes the northwest staircase and goes all the way west through a door. It shouldn’t be too hard to follow her.
Agree to get help and Karlach will approve. Gut refuses to help with your party in the room. Leave the room and right-click your portrait on the left side of your screen. Ungroup yourself and your party won’t follow. Speak to Gut again to begin the process. Allow the priestess to access your memories and Gut will hand you a vial. Shutting her out ends the quest prematurely.
If you are an Elf that is immune to Sleep effects (or have immunity some other way), the potion won't work. This results in Gut attacking you and starting a fight.
If you pass the Arcana save, you learn its werejackal blood; a sleeping potion. You go to sleep whether you drink the vial or refuse it. You then shift to Gut interrogating you in a jail cell. No option will free you, and you decide to free yourself from the chains. It’s also possible to do nothing.
|Check Type||Difficulty To Clear||Success||Failure|
|Acrobatics||12||Free yourself||Remain stuck in the chains|
|Strength||20||Free yourself||Remain stuck in the chains|
Unlike other checks, you can try both options before you move on. Open the cell door and head left, going through without alerting anyone. Back in the room where Gut “treated” you, break open the door manually (physical or ranged attacks) to reunite with your party. The quest ended when you broke free.
If you fail or preserve your strength, you are rescued by Korilla and Gut is defeated. Loot Gut’s corpse before leaving as you need the Priestess Key to get out. Head left after leaving the cell, looting the place beforehand if you want. This leads back to the room you drank the potion, and the Priestess Key opens the door back to your companions.
