Blizzard announces the second Season for Diablo IV will go live this October 17, just in time for Halloween. Titled the Season of Blood, this upcoming questline promises new challenges and rewards for seasonal characters in the mood for vampire hunting.
Sanctuary is under threat from a horde of vampires guided by a mysterious dark hand. Seasonal charactes will be able to fight fire with fire by tapping into all-new Vampire Powers. These could come in handy against the 5 new endgame bosses which players can defeat for another shot of those coveted Unique and Uber Unique items. The good news is that players will now be able target specific drops starting with Season of Blood.
Additional quality of life improvements include allowing players to carry over any unlocked Renown Rewards (including Potion Charges, Skill Points, Paragon Points, and Obol cap upgrades) to new Eternal or Seasonal Realm characters.
