Achievement Guide

Starfield has a total of 50 Achievements. These are awarded for experiencing the entirety of the single player campaign, unlocking and completing a good chunk of the available side-quests, levelling your character up, undertaking your fair share of exploring the galaxy, undertaking a few challenging combat encounters and much more. Below you'll find a categorized list of the Achievements in the game and guides for how you can unlock each one.

Story Achievements

There are 10 Achievements tied into simply playing through the main game and progressing through the story from the beginning to to its end. These 9 Achievements listed below are unmissable and are listed in the order that they appear in our walkthrough. They include:

Faction-based Achievements

Starfield has 12 Achievements that are tied into finding and joining various factions located around the galaxy. There are four main factions - UC Vanguard, Crimson Fleet, Ryujin Industries and the Freestar Rangers. Each of these factions has a decent sized quest line, and each will net you three Achievements if played through top completion. These Achievements include:

Ryujin Industries

Crimson Fleet

Character Development Achievements

Starfield has five Achievements that are awarded upon completing various character development and gear crafting tasks. The majority of these are easy enough to unlock, but will take quite a bit of time to complete due to the required, materials and XP that area required to be obtained.

These Achievements include:

Exploration, Outpost & Ship Achievements

Starfield has 8 Achievements that are dedicated to exploring the galaxy, collecting and modifying ship and setting up outposts... all in the name of discovery, of course. These Achievements/Trophies include:

	Boots on the Ground	Land on 100 Planets.
	Chief Engineer	Modify a Ship.

	Home Sweet Home	Build an Outpost.
	Shipping Magnate	Connect 5 Outposts with Cargo Links.
	Industrialist	Produce 500 Total Resources from Outposts.

Companion & Relationship Achievements

The following two Achievements are tied into recruiting allies, interacting with them and forming a relationship with one of them. These Achievements include:

	Starcrossed	Reach Maximum Relationship Level with a Companion.

Miscellaneous Achievements

The following 13 Achievements were a little hard to narrow down into one of the other categories and they require you to do a range of actions and mission types, collecting various forms of currency, keeping your kill counts rolling over and successfully smuggling contraband, among other things. 	War of Angels	Collect 20 Quantum Essence.
	Thirst for Knowledge	Read 20 Skill Magazines.
